MMC 100 Waiting for communication

Stevie Bramwell Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a problem with a 840d with a MMC100.3 on it. Upon power up the screen stays blank and says 'MMC 100 waiting for connection' and a counter starts counting. It just continues to count. The NCU has a number 8 on the display and all of the indicator lights are on. Could this be an issue with NC, PLC or with the MMC100.3? Thanks in advance. Stevie

Stevie Bramwell Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Hi, Since mypost I havetried to clear the PLC and NC using the S3 and S4 switches on the NCU. The 7 segment display is now showing a 0, then a 1, andthen a 6. The cycle repeats itself. The original message on the screen remains the same. All of the lights are still on. I have also removed the NC card and allowed it to discharge in the hope that it would lose it's memory and clear any corruption. However, it remains the same. I'm now thinking that it is looking like the card itself. Is there a list of what the displayed numbers mean? Thanks again. Stevie
