NC start without referencing 1 axis in the machine

ŠΜS Gold Member Joined: 6/7/2010 Last visit: 7/9/2024 Posts: 571 Rating: (37)	Hi, In 840D controlled machine,I need to run the part program with out referencing only one axis of the machine.Other axis should be referenced.Incremental encoder is used for all the axis.MD20700 is for all the axis, Is there any parmeter/DB signal for single axis of the Machine? SteveA Posts: 297 Rating: (42)	I think you could change the parameter using FB3, but if you looked at Doc on CD, it shows that changes to that parameter do not take effect until after a PowerOn (NCK Reset). So sorry, it is not possible to change this while the machine is running. SteveA
