wheather Pitch error compensation need for linearscale feedback

OvidiuNastac Posts: 419 Rating: (19)	Hi The name for this type of compensation is "Pitch error compensation" because is intended to use it for ball screw pitch error compensation, but that doesn't mean that you can't use it for other type of compensation and whatever precise the scale is, it has some errors (that' why the scale manufacturer is sending you, along with the scale, a sheet with the measuring results). So it's up to you if you use it or not. Good luck Nit
