changing the format of pcs7 analog value element

I use a PCS7 AnalogValue element from the@pcs7elements.pdl. I want to display from a custom block the output. It is a analog value 0-100.0. The output is REAL, created with SCL. The output from the custom block isfor example: 10.245632. The analogvalue object also displays the same value, but I want to limit it to 10.2. How can I do that?? I tried changing the I/O field inconfiguration mode, but nothing works...

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi Oreca, Changing the OutputValue or VisibleValue will not have any impact on the display in runtime because these are static values that you see in the properties! To display the value in your desired format you have two options: 1)Edit the customizedobject PCS7_AnalogValue1 and adjust the number of decimal places. or 2) Use object PCS7_AnalogValue3 and adjust the Format property. It appears that on the IO field of object: Value 1, the outputformat is string... and when I change it to decimal, you can fill in values for low and high limit. PCS7 puts the default limit at 0 and 20.. When I changed it from 20 to 100.. the value was finally shown correctly
