I am trying to connect two PC-s,one as OPC server and one as OPC client using wincc 2008.I have made all posible settings but OPC client cannot connect tags with opc server.(Connection with OPC server failed).Two PC-s can definitely see each other,because when I go in connections area OPC client recognizes OPC server from computer where OPC server is located.I have turned off the firewall,and made all DCOM settings.It's probably because of the DCOM settings but i have tried everything.So I would be really grateful if You could send me pdf(or somethnig like that) with all DCOM settings for two computers for OPC,that You know that worked.Or to give me some other advice what could be wrong.OPC is working when Server and Client are on the same computer.Also if you could tell me is it possible to use wincc 2007 as OPC server and wincc 2008 as OPC client.I hope I wsn't too confusing.
