It's very bad, because my turret spindle motor does not have any drive (it's a contactor type).
Changing the speed of turret is possible through some clutches that their combinations could give us 8 different speeds.
Gear change function in 802C is only available for 5 gears so I lose 3 speeds.
Furthermore, I have 4 manual gears that combining all the possibilities with the clutches will lead to 32 different speed ranges.
Manual gears could be only read by PLC and changing is only possible at motor stand still by the operator hands, but clutches could be feed by PLC even motor is turning.

What's the best solution to control the most of speed stats in PLC while S function is not available in order to decide which clutch should be engaged?
