I CHANGE TO SYSTEM "MSC" I WATCHED IN "MM" IN AUTO/MDI WITH G71 GHANGE TO "MM" MY PROBLEM IS IN JOG. HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS??????? WHERE TO OBSERVE THE SETTINGS FOR TORN AND MILL TO . RESET AND START FOR PART PROGRAM- THANK-

Historicaly with G70/G71 Siemens only changed the distance from inch to metric or metric to inch. Leaving feedrate and tool lengths etc. in the system units. So G70 G1 X20 F200 would be a move of 20inches at a feedrate of 200mm/min G700/G710 also reads the feedrate and tool lengths in the units selected by the G code. If your system units are in metric then defaulting to G710 will do nothing anyway. Pee
