Siemens 820T powersupply 6ES1861-3AD

sivaraj Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	We have a Sinumeric 820Twhich could not power on. The power supply type is 6ES1861-3AD. Fuse on the card is ok and power components are ok.System fans are running.Supply exist at power on PBterminals . Is there any other interlock from system which can inhibit power on or it should output the +5v & +/-15v as soon as pressing the power on. Could not conclude either power supply faulty or other parts of system having error. Help appriciated. Sivaraj

TSH Posts: 73 Rating: (2)	Hello, If my memory serves me well, there are enable and fan monitoring terminals on the rear of the controller. It was standard practice to take the fan monitoring circuit to the enable terminals. Even though the fans are running it could still be detecting a problem. Try directly linking the enable terminals together so that the fans are not monitored. Rgards.
