Eastern Posts: 557 Rating: (64)	Hi I require following information for batch control system. 1) I am using client server redundancy with redundant server. My question if I take one batch basic license. Can I use implement in all client or do I require additional license. 2) What does mean of 10 units. I have to use 15 brand receipe in my project. 3) If I use ES/OS configuration than can I use it for all os stations. Regards

Each Batch Server needs a license and with this is included a Batch Client license. Units (collection of Equipment Modules / Control Modules) are the number of the IUNIT_BLOCK instances. See chapter 2.5.3 in the following manual for Batch Licensing details: SIMATIC Process Control System PCS 7 SIMATIC BATCH Manual V7.1 SP1 I did not understand your last sentence regarding ES/OS.
