CP343-1 Lean, Hardware update!

RaGud Posts: 46 Rating: (1)	Hi all, I have just installed a new CP343-1 Lean (6GK7343-1CX10-0EX0) and do not seem to be able to get a hardware config for it. I have the older version ...1CX00... in my list of hardware profiles and I get errors in the CP when I try to use it. I can download hardware updates for the new ...1CX10... from the internet but, it does not appear in the storage folder, and does not get installed under Step 7 hardware profiles. What is going on? I am running Step 7 V5.3, SP2, does that make any difference? Hope someone can help me, Best regards, Ragnar

If you want to use the PN IO Device functionality you need at least Step 7 v5.4 with HSP 1011 or Step 7 v5.4 with SP1. With HSP1011 you can also use the following 2 links: Download GSDML File for CP 343-1 Lean (6GK7343-1CX10-0XE0) Download: New STEP 7 Online Help System for CP 343-1 Lean If you want the othere IE functions you need atleast v5.3 and SP1.
