PLC9 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody, Somebody knows why a FB in a Step 5 program has this nr bib: P71200-S 3070-D-1?? I´m working with a program that isn´t mine and i have a problem with this FB because the S5/S7 converter doesn´t let me convert that FB. Thanks in advance.

I know what is the block, the problem is in the conversion S5S7 because the converter says me that block exists in S5 but not in S7 and i suposse is because the nr bib, because usually the nr bib is a number between 0 and 99999 but not this: P71200-S 3070-D-1 I know that i can convert it manually but i would like know if this type of nr bib has an special mean. Best regards

It does dear PLC9, it means that it isa Siemens "Standard" FB's which could bemathematical, comms related DHB's, IP cardrelated etc. etc. etc. (you'll find for example the manuals - and BIB numbers - forthe basic "standard" FB's HERE and mathematical "standard" FB's HERE, but there's heaps more "standard" FB's available depending on the type of S5CPU's and/or IP/CP that is used) Giving us the information thatjklmasked for would certainly help us being able to advise you and please let us also know what S5 CPU it is and what "function" it is meant to fulfill. I hope this helps

PLC9 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Thanks for the link and for your attention, fritz;) Looking for the forum i found this post: /tf/WW/en/Posts/35336#top But isn´t here the solution for me, because i can`t convert the FB 70 with Graph 5 converter and the SBs associated with this FB i can´t convert them. The FB 70 and their SBs has the same type of Nr Bib. With Step 5 i can´t see the code of this SBs (probably the nr bib) but yes i can with the S5 S7 for windows. My CPU is a 115U. jklm Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, As you have detected yourself, the S5 to S7 converter is not able to convert Graph5 sequences. The FB70 is the bloc managing the sequence. The SBs are the blocks with the steps. Sequencers cannot be converted with the S5 to S7 converter and must be created in S7 GRAPH.

DiegoMontes Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	You could open .S5D archive with the "S5/S7 Für Windows" software fromIBH Softec. It has a S5Graph editor. You can check States and Transitions and then copy them to S7 Graph. Regards!
