To install this new MMC100.2 we need to have system software and user screen in PCMCIA card. I have received required files MMC100_2.ABB file format from our machine supplier. Pls let me know how to copy this file in empty PCMCIA card.MMC detailsMMC 100.2 , 12MB 6FC5210 - 0DA00 - 1AA1 Regards, Venki

Just curious, what happened to the original MMC100 or 100.2? These didn't break that often. Other options: There is a way to install the ABB file directly to the MMC100.2 via the serial port, but this way is impressively frustrating with todays likely incompatible and frustrating software and hardware, I strongly recommend this only if you have a lot of time to play with it (This was the only way on the MMC100). A better way: Download APSOFT cardware control, which will let you use it for 30 days for free. Burn the card. (Write the abb to the card..I usually use apsoft native mode...If you wish, purchase sinucomFFS as well, and it can use apsoft to write the card) Insert into slot in mmc100.2 You can either operate from the card, or burn the card to the internal flash. To operate from the card, there is an 8 position dip switch on the motherboard under the lid for the card, place switch 3.1 Into on, and it will boot from the card inserted into the slot. If you wish to burn what is on the card to internal memory, from the year 2000 DocOnCd: 1. Insert the PCMCIA with the flash memory card image into the memory card slot of the MMC100.2. 2. Reboot the MMC100.2 and press the key ”6” on the operator panel as soon as the serial number appears on the display. If a memory card is inserted at this point, a menu box is displayed. 3. Select ”Update from PC-Card” by pressing the key ”0” on the operator panel. The update process takes approximately 1 minute. When the updating is complete, you will be prompted to ”Remove PC-Card” 4. Remove the memory card from the MMC100.2. The MMC100.2 is rebooted automatically. The installation of the system software is now complete.
