6 direct measuring system 840D SL

Could all the 6 be connected to two DMC20 ( cascaded ) and then one drive-CliQ port of NUC is occupied ? or I should add one NX10 Module for evaluation of 3 remaining direct measuring system beside NCU 710.2 that could read 3 direct measuring system itself? 802D SL could read 5 direct measuring system by DMC20, if 840D SL requires additional NX10 module for direct meausring system evaluation, then what's the basic diffrence between 802D SL and 840D SL for direct measuring system evaluation ? Why 840D SL which is an advanced controller needs additional NX10 while 802D SL does not! Thanks

You should use NX10 for 6 direct measuring system: - 4 axes (4 motor measuring system and 4 direct measuring system are connected to NCU 710.2). - 2 axes (2 motor measuring system and 2 direct measuring system are connected to NX10). DMC cannot operate a drive (hub), it only transfers signals from gauges to CU. NX the module calculates and operates a drive. Best regards.
