makaveli Posts: 259 Rating: (5)	Hi, I have three the same machine with second spindle use for milling. When i setup angle with SPOS command on two machine is not possible to move/rotate this spindle by hand but on one you can rotate it very easy.... Any advise... With regards, makaveli

OvidiuNastac Posts: 419 Rating: (19)	Hi I don't see where the problem is since on this machine you have safety function activated so it is normal that the spindle driver it is not enabled with the doors open (I assume because other way you wouldn't be able to rotate the spindle with hand). OvidiuNastac Posts: 419 Rating: (19)	Hi Maybe other machines doesn't have safety system or it may be made different. Generally with the safety system active, all the drives are disabled and the system is put in following mode (that's way you receive an alarm when you rotate the spindle by hand) and so the machine can't start to move even if it is a bad command or a malfunction in the control system. This are done separately from the system. Good luck Nit
