What's the principle of PCS7 PID self tunning

seastone Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone: As we know: an automatic optimisation of the PID control loop can be simply carried out by Ziegler-Nichols Formular on MM440; an automatic optimisation of the PID control loop can be simply carried out by Relay-Feedback on s7-200 PLC. PID self tuner tool have been integrated freely in PCS 7. It is used for optimize PID parameters online according to system identification based on closed-loop step response. So, does anybody know the detail indentification method used in pcs7 tuner tool ? can we understand the VZ2 model and PTn model ? for example: we have knew the VZ2 model characteristic prameters : damping:1.0, gain: 14.635s, time constant:5.634s,time lag: 1.587s . the recommend P：0.1s ,Ti=6.169s.as result in pcs7 tuner tool, if we can choose PI controler. does anybody know how to calculate in pcs7?
