OvidiuNastac Posts: 419 Rating: (19)	Hi To see the protection level for folders you must introduce the S...... password and then: Menu select->Menu select->Services->Manage. Then highlight the desired folder and push Proprieties soft key and you will see the protection levels. I want to ask you something: is your machine equipped with Shop mill or Shop turn? If yes then the part programs are not stored in the MPF.dir but in the WKS.dir. and if so you must modify accordingly the header of the file which you want to be transferred or you must search the transferred file in the MPF.dir. Good luck Nit Hi Nit, Thanks for the reply. No, machine is not equipped with shop mill. Also during uploading, I have checked in main, part as well as in sub programs also. No-where I found the transferred program file or directory.

"SERVICE" "INTERFACE" to help you in the setting you can look in http://www.aggsoft.com/cnc-dnc/siemens-sinumerik-840d.htm have you try with a different computer? between two computer ? wich Operating system have you on the computer ? what's the wirring of your câble ?
