DRA_Employee Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Hi, Couldn't find an answer in the FAQ's so please redirect me or answer to the following problem. I'm using WinCC Flexible 2008 SP2, I am connected to an OP77 A Panel. Now I wanted to download BUT if I go to connections in flexible my communication driver is displayed with an orange background, so it's faulted i guess. The output box gives the message: This highest station address is invalid when I compile. However I'm not seeing where I went wrong. Well of course under network i see the highest station address is 126, but it is not possible to change it. I've added a screenshot. Attachment problem.JPG (179 Downloads)

See note at page 8 When you have OP77A, the Highest Station Address must be less or equal to 63. (Change the profibus properties in Step 7 or NETPRO) Best regards, Wizard

Sandman Platinum Member Joined: 4/29/2010 Last visit: 1/20/2025 Posts: 1557 Rating: (161)	Hello, at the flexible help there is this note: Note The highest station address must be less than or equal to 63 if you set a transmission rate of 1.5 Mbaud at OP 73 or OP 77A. If connecting a TP170A to a SIMATIC S7 station at a transmision rate of 1.5 MBaud on PROFIBUS DP, set a value less than or equal to 63 for the highest station address (HSA). This note is there from flexible 2004, but from flexible 2008 SP2 you now get a error at the compile. best regards.
