No textual interconnections are created after copying/moving a chart

Smaug73 Advanced Member Joined: 8/10/2011 Last visit: 5/22/2025 Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hi Using PCS7 V7.1+SP2, I copy/move any chart from a project (included in a multiproject) to: - a program included in the same project - a program included in another project of the same multiproject - a program included in another project of another multiproject and no textual interconnections are created automatically instead the interconnections that exceed the chart boundaries without any error message, as they used to be created with PCS7 V7.0. I have tried with different multiprojects and with three different machines with different operating systems (Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP Pro), and I get the same result. Best regards

Silent Bob Posts: 836 Rating: (100)	Hi, I tried it and it worked. I was using PCS 7 V7.1 SP2 on WinXP. Did you cut the charts and insert them on the other place? You need to cut them, just copy them and delete the originals won't work. TextRefs are created only at the block on which the interconnection is a input.

But it should work copying the charts because the CFC help points in this way (I attach the )and because I (and other colleagues)did itwith PCS7 V7.0 in the past. It's very useful for replicating functional units of the installation, because I canmodifythe textual interconnection in the destination project with the equipment tags of the new unit I want to create, and then copy back to the source project and close them.
