Failure 25050 on 840D, MMC100

MoonBeam Posts: 41 Rating: (0)	Greetings, I have read some treads regarding alarm 25050, but looks like no solution solves my problem... I have a system Sinumerik 840d with: MMC 100, 6FC5210-0DA00-0AA0 LT module 2X50A, 6SN1123-1AB00-0CA1 Reg. card, 2 axis, 6SN1118-0DH23-0AA1 Motor, 7kW, 1FT6086-1AF71-3AH1 with brake integrated There is only one motor encoder used with resolution 2048 pulses/rev. The problem is on vertical Z axis, with two holding springs preventing axis to fall down. After trying to moveaxis in any direction +, -,at any feed rate, I get failure 25050. Until now we have done: Disconnecting motor and testing mechanics: Ball screw with axis runs smoothly OK. Exchanging Motor,regulator card: Failure remains. Testing motor without mechanics: Motor runs, but you can hear some random short cracking sound (both motors). We were trying to adjust 32200 and 1407at all possible values: Failure remains. But after exchanging LT module machine was ok for about 8 hours, after that failure repeated. My questions are: Is it possible to run automatic speed controller settings on this old MMC100, If yes, HOW? Is it possible booth LT modules have been damaged? What could be causing short strange sounds in the motor (similar to crackers cracking)? Any help is more than appreciated... BR, Mitja

Does the sound hears like bearing noise ???? have you checked the motor winding resistance and the ground of this does it shows porper???.... check the power cable continuity .... if you have removed the motor from the mechnicals and tried to run the motor it should run smoothly.... After turning the motor andholding the shaft (with hand, no extreme force), I could stop the motor (25050)... There has to be something wrong with LT infeed module... What do you think? The brake works normally... BR, Mitja
