Heberto_hbo Posts: 16 Rating: (2)	Good day, I'm Working on a project which consist in acquire a Pressure variable (for pressure tests), show in a trend view and save the file for future review, I already configure the trend view and can see the pressure parameter in the trend but what I cannot understand is how to log orsave the trend and file every time the operator hit a record button, there will be a new file created and the pressure test need to be saved with a name given by the operator, at the end the operator could be capable of open all the saved test (files) and review then in a trend view and print it. I've been doing some test configuring the variable in continuous, circular, etc.. but still have problem to long term archives because it has an amount of size specific. When I'm trying to configure the variable parameters for log, I still don't understand someterms, but basically is: - Log the file when the operator hits the record test button (already configured). - Save the file with a name given by the operator. - Upload the file saved and view it in a trend view for analysis or print. - Everytime operator save the test, a different file must be created and saved in the hard disk. - Some test could easy be long for 2 hours for example. some are less than 15 minutes. I'm using a S7-1200 PLC with Wincc flexible advanced 2008 SP2 and WinCC Flexible Runtime 128 power Tags each, If anyone could help me with this I really appreciate it. Then you must create a data log. Now you add the variable to this data log. See the manual at page 63.WinCC flexible Getting Started Power User Heberto_hbo 1. In this case you must just the trigger “On demand” for logging. This trigger is described in the following manual at page 284.WinCCfelxible manual 2. At this FAQ can you see how you can display the process variable in a CSV file. How can you output batch data or archived data via an HMI operator panel? 3. You must use the function “ ArchiveLogFile”. With this function can you copy the logfile. For thisfunction you must use data log with logging method “ Create segmental circular logs automatically”. 4. You must calculate the size of the log.
