Replacement for CPU416 with larger memory

I am using PCS7 V5.2 SP4 with Step7 V5.1 SP6+HF3. What would be the recommended CPU compatible with the one I have? Thanks

Thanks Hello, In case of very old PCS7 there is not possible just to replace the type of CPU with more powerful one. You will need to update the version of PCS7 too. And then depend of the version of PCS7 to find which type of CPUs are supporting in order to choice a 'bigger' one. The successor product there is 6ES7 416 - 3XL04 - 0AB0. It needs STEP7 V5.2 SP1 HF3 or higher with HW update. But this CPU is in cancellation phase. Its successor product is 6ES7416-3XR05-0AB0 with needs ~~STEP7 V 5.3 SP2 or higher with HW update.~~ Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
