IM151-8 PN/DP CPU as Profinet Master and Non-Siemens Profinet Slaves??

Hello all, I have a IM151-8 PN/DP CPU. Is it possible to use it like a Profinet Master and let it communicate with some NON-Siemens profinet Slaves? So yes, I don't need to add an extra S7-CPU 3xx PN. |

Hello Mr. Q-Bridge IM151-8 can't work as profinet master. But you can use protocol UDP, TCP for connection. |

Dear all seems there's some conflicting advise here, I personally reside with Wizard's and will claim too that the IM151-8 CPU can defintely be used as a PN I/O Controller. Apart from having used it as such, it'stechnical specdoes also confirm this and I hope this helps. |
