mohaelsayed Posts: 137 Rating: (2)	Hi all I am working by PCS7 V7.1 SP1, when I've opened the my prject program and switch to the process device network view , I found the devices not activated . when I clicked on them I got the following error message : (SIMATIC PDM-Remote I/O (3340:14 ) Please, I need to know what is the reason for that ? Please first import at least one (or as many as you wish) device types from the device C." Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

mohaelsayed Posts: 137 Rating: (2)	I've installed already the many of catalog but during installation i got an error message like the bellow: ET200M (Siemens AG - PROFIBUS DP - Remote I/O) DP_IOSystem_Siemens_ET200M_Module.Devices: \SI_FileM.inc ? There are some "include files" missing. Here is how to rectify this: Start the installation of your catalog again. Place the CD2 of your PDM software in the CD drive and start the installation. Read the "SIMATIC PDM - Readme" file in order to avoid mistakes. The following is important: "You must therefore navigate to the root directory of the CD on which the device catalog is located ("Device Library 2/2007"). After you have performed the installation again you should face no problem in importing the actual EDD of ... by using the "Manage device catalog" function."

mohaelsayed Posts: 137 Rating: (2)	I am so sorry but when i am looking in the catalog file I don't find any application to install , please, pay attentin i download this CD2 from here ( siemens site ). so what is the reason for that ? or this version of PDM is conflicting with PCS 7 version ( V7.1 ) please, this matter is very important for me. best regards, Maher
