NYArcher Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	We'd like to use the M19 "Oriented spindle stop" in a program to stop the spindle, machine a flat with a live tool, rotate the spindle 180 and machine another flat with the live tool. The M19 option seems to be installed but when a M19 is issued, the lathe just sits there waiting for something and won't process the following lines of code. Is there something I'm missing?

NYArcher Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	I thought everything was working fine but something strang is happening. If an M19 is the first thing the program does, it seems to run fine. If the M19 is after any other spindle command (M3, M4, M5), the previous condition still occurs: The spindle positions but any other axis motion just sits there. Also, even with the M19 in the beginning of the program, having the program jump to the first block at the end also has the affect of stopping other axis motion. When the system is allowed to process a M30, and the program is run again, it cycles just fine. Right now the operator has to press the RUN button for each cycle.
