Skata Experienced Member Joined: 12/18/2006 Last visit: 10/22/2025 Posts: 89 Rating: (6)	I cannot select message class "Operational Message - Without Acknowledgement" on APL-drives-blocks (MotL, VlvL ...) and EventTs-block. If I use EventNck (from APL-library) I can select it, but this block cannot be interconnected to the drive block so that an alarm that does not need acknowledement will show on the drives faceplate. I was gonna use it for example to generate an eventmessage when the motor starts and stops. (using PCS7 v7.1 + SP3)

Also I'm wonder if I can generate an event message with an external timestamp, that does not have to be acknowledged? It does not seem possible with EventTs or EventNck.

They have message class "Operational Message - Without Acknoledgement" and they have up to 10 Associated values that could handle external timestamps. Acquaint yourself with those. Cheers!
