PCS7 upgrade from 6.0 to 7.1 SP3

Stanley Li Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Can anybody give some suggestions on what are the required licenses for upgarding the existing PCS7 6.0 to 7.1 SP3? Current system: 2x Siemens S7-400, 417’s, (separate. They are not redundant or a pair. Each performs separate control functions). 1x redundant server pair, (e.g. 2 servers set up as a redundant pair) 3 clients, (desktop computers) 1 x TP 177B CAS software and licencing. They want to log at least the current number of 476 tags to the CAS. Their current system has the following pertinent statistics for this. Currently Logging – 476 Tags , (out of a license for 512 Tags to log), System has – 63213 Tags, (out of a license for 102400 Tags). Thank you

Thank you Hello Stanley823, Pleasse have a look on the my post You can also Dlownload the PCS7 Catalog from the www.siemens.com/industrymall But I think you will get the PCS7 V8.0, not Sure about V7.1 SP3

Or it is included in the existing WinCC license and do not need this for the new CAS?) - If you have Diffrent Machine then Yes also As I told you I don't know if you will get the V7.1 SPXX, for this you have to contact Siemens, Because the recent Version is V8.0 & you will get the Latest Service Pack From Siemens When You order For V7.1 You will get SP3, Hope you get all information.
