Dear all I have WINCC Flixible 2008SP1 copy and i need this version and the run time version to work on WINDOWS7 OS what is the way. Thank you

A short answer, No WinCC flexible 2008 SP1 is not compatable with MS Windows 7. But, you can upgrade to SP3, it should work. Please see this pdf file And also usecomptability tool. Hope this helps.

For WinCC Flex 2008 on Win7 32-bit you need at least SP2. For WinCC Flex 2008 on Win7 64-bit you need at least SP3. In an older thread, someone said to have installed WinCC Flex 2008 SP1 on Win7 32-bit through compatibility-mode. It might just work but it's not supported but from there you could upgrade to SP2. The only normal procedure is to install WinCC Flex 2008 from CD with the necessary SP included. Hello Luay, have a look on the Following Post, i could not have the *.fwx file after i rebuild all or generate.But Before Doing this take your backup & then follow the Procedure, for Safe side. |
