Do you mean only in automation or Siemens in general? Siemens also build fridges, microwaves, trains, power plants etc ...

Presently my functional area is PLC and DRIVES as well as doingmy PG(part-time) in Power electronics and Drives.. Inpower electronics, Ihave to write the codes for generating PWM and implementing thedrive control techniques likeSVM,Vector control algorithm,V/F control...etc. As a beginner,I dont know which controller issuitable to me for programming.. Please help and giveur ideas.. I want todesign and develop a gate driver circuit andwrite software also.. From where I should start my learning? Ask for their TrainingCenter for Automation. I don't know in other countries, but in Germany Siemens has some sort of Professional Schools. Mike
