MCP RED LED blinks

PISCEAN 2010 Posts: 8092 Rating: (884)	Hello Experts, System is 840Di with MCP, part no 6FC5203-0AD10-0AA0. Machine is in running condition. all of sudden, Output Green LEDson MCP started blinking. Checked & found yello LED, communication is blinking. Simulteniously RED LED near it also blinks. Checked 24 Volt DC power supply, it is OK i.e. 23.94 Volt. Checked earthing of MCP which is also OK. Can any body explain what could be the reason? Thanks in advance. DEEP. P.S. :-I don't have spare or identical MCP, as such couldn't connect it & check.

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (485)	Hello.... Any alarm message in the screen ??? Some thing should get displyed ....have you tried connecting your step7 and checked in diagnostic buffer why plc has gone to Stop mode... Regards, Prakash
