problem on connect tag to plc

u just click to tag icon fill the box like with types of plc input

Hi, If you have an integrated WinCC Flexible project in Step-7 then you can choose in Flexible tags directly from PLC, if project is not integrated then add tag manually with correct address and data type. Small example of how to acces PLC tag in integrated project is attached. Also do not forget to use linear scaling for data type time as it will be represented in miliseconds in HMI. If you want to see it as seconds you need to do linear scaling of a tag 1:1000. Attachment tags.jpg (141 Downloads)
