1. How do you determine the current screen number and screen name?
   InExample 01the complete name of the screen is output through the return value of a script.
   

Screen name:	Screen_01
Name of the script:	Script_01
Script type:	Function
Return value:	Tag of the "String" type

Open the "Script_01" script

Dim Obj, StrScreenName

Set Obj = HmiRuntime
StrScreenName = Obj.BaseScreenName
Script_01 = StrScreenName 'Return value'

Result
The return value of the name is "Screen_01"

InExample 02the name of the screen is "split". Only the characters/names before the"_"separator character are output as the return value of a script.

Screen name:	02_MachineData
Name of the script:	Script_02
Script type:	Function
Return value:	Tag of the "String" type

Open the "Script_02" script

Dim Obj, StrScreenNumber

Set Obj = HmiRuntime
StrScreenNumber = Split(Obj.BaseScreenName, "_")
Script_02 = StrScreenNumber(0) 'Return value'

Result
The return value of the name is "02"

Notes

• It is not possible to use "Script" to read out the screen name/number directly through the "Properties" of the screen concerned.
• Alternatively you can also use the "Screen number" area pointer. By configuring a tag which has the same address range as the range pointer, the screen number can then be read out via the controller. In this option, bear in mind the baud rate of the bus and the acquisition cycle of the tags.
