I want to build a generic project since many of our machines are based off of the same concept, that way i can get everything programed and when i do program a machine i can just copy and paste the relevant programing blocks into the current machine.

ajbh2o Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	To my knowledge, Simotion Scout does not have a run time simulator, however you do have the ability to change your axis to a virtual axis. All that is required is having the D4xx powerd up on your desk and an MMC card. In Simotion, configure the axes you wish to simulate to virtual axes and then load the project into the controller. You will be able to trace the axis uisng the trace feature and simulate the I/O by using the watch table.

Manfred Posts: 156 Rating: (17)	Hi, you can also set a real axis in simulation mode. See manual TO Axis, Chap. 2.4.9 Setting as a real axis without drive (axis simulation). On the SIMOTION SCOUT Utilities & Applications DVD is also a script available to do this in an easy way (Scripts > Enable/Disable axis simulation). Regards Manfred
