Data log from SD to Pen drive

Posts: 39 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I would like to know how can I record the data logs and alarms from the SD card to the Pen drive,choosing theperiod of time, i.e. the operator choose the period in the HMI, like from day 02/10/2009 to 07/10/2009 and click in a button like "record"to recordthe data from this period to the pen drive? I have another question. Howdo I know when the HMI finished to record all the information to the pen drive? How do I knowwhen Ican remove the pen drive from the USB plug? Thanks in advance, Rodrigo

ryu Posts: 18 Rating: (1)	Hi Rodrigo... Have you looked at using the function 'ArchiveLogFile'? This will move data from your existing log and save it in a date stamped csv file. The csv file that is created can be stored on either an MMC, USB or remote network drive (depending on the HMI you are using). It can be configured to copy thedata or move the data. If clients ask for data to be moved between certain dates I usually offer them this alternative as it is easier and the csv files that it creates are date and time stamped. This would not be the case if you use the other function such as CopyLog or MoveLog. RYU>>

Bhaskaran Posts: 107 Rating: (13)	Hi ! If you are having a panel with SD card slot then probably it also has an ethernet port. You can then directly read the alarm log into your PC as a csv file.
