S7-400 H does not generate alarms correctly in WinCC(PCS 7)

PLC is programmed via CFC Language. Alarms in project are block-related alarms & generated via ALARM-8P Function . after a random period of time , no alarm appear in WinCC Alarm Logging or Block icons in graphic pages . only after Entire Program Download this problem is solved. we try a lot of ways to solve this problem but we failed . -Installing WinCC Patches & Hotfixes -Upgrading H-Cpu firmware to latest version . PLZ Help us Urgent ...

Because if we use the PCS7 standard blocks the various alarms can be configured in the same whereas in case of additional messages only we use the block of Alarm 8P. Avoid using alarm 8P block unnecessarily. Please let me know why exactly u need to use Alarm 8P block.

Eastern Posts: 557 Rating: (64)	Hello, I have used Alarm 8P manually in S7 400 FH system. it works properly. also in PCS7 STD this block generate alarm properly. i would suggest following. 1) create new project & call one block of Alarm 8P & try to check? 2) It can be due to bad installation. Regards
