Dear AmazingAhmed, Just a very small correction of the above question. PCS7 & S7-400 have memory cards. MMC is for S7-300 only In any case here's bellow two valuable FAQs. I believe it will help you for both S7-300 / 400. How can you read out the serial number of the MMC? How do you read the MC serial numbers on S7-400 CPUs from V5.0? Hope this helps.

AMAZINGAHMED Posts: 719 Rating: (88)	OK, now I can read the serial number of my memory card. This produces a 34 bytes of data. How can I compare this address with an existing serial number. e.g. I have the serial number of the MC, and if I downloaded it on another MC, then I want to compare the two serial numbers. How ca I do that???
