MP 370 Backup Not opening on Wincc Flexible

As it is running on Protool Runtime but not running on wincc flexible. The file which is running on Protool Runtime its file extension is ( .fwd ) I have the Wincc Flexible 2008. please telll how can i run it on Wincc Flexible runtime mode.

Hello, You need to get the configuration file of MP370 (protool) Then Open WinCC flexible and select wizard, open a protool project. Follow instructions and then you will migrate the project to WinCC flexible (MP377). And also these thread may help you: How to migrate to migration from MP370(protool ) to MP377 (winccflex2008)? Amit_86 Posts: 1750 Rating: (272)	Hello, please do migration procedure as said by Ayman and let us know us with conversion result. But please take care that with wincc flexible 2008 sp3, migration option from protool to wincc flexible is not available.

Its not Online with that. As i attach MPI cable also set the PG Setting ( FWL- Load on MPI or Profibus ) I attach on both terminals of cpu On DP and MPI but its not online. I open the file in MY Laptop and run the Runtime mode of protool. But its not Working i want to online the runtime mood on Cpu. Give any guide that how can i online the runtime mode. As i want to check the program running in MP 370 panel same working on PROTOOL runtime.

Hello, It's normal. To open it with WinCC flexible, you need the configuration file (.pdb) file. The file you are tring to open (.fwd) is RT file and should be open only using Protool RT software. If I understand you right, then the file is created for MP370, You want now to use it for being online with the CPU using a laptop! I thnink it is possible, I am not very much sure, but in this case you should establish communication between Laptop and CPU as descripied in configuration file of the protool. If it was attached to profibus, then you should establish communication to profibus. But I have another good suggesstion for you. As you want to just check the program you have is the latest version or not, then do the following: Upload a prosave image from MP370 and save it on your PC as a backup. Download the software you want to check on the MP370 and navigate screens to check if it is the last version or not and in this case, you will be able to establish communication between MP370 & CPU. If there is a difference, then redownload (restore) the backup image again to MP370. And Again, without configuration file, you will not be able to make migration to WinCC flexible. Hope this helps.
