Profibus Failure S7400H System: Urgent Support Needed

Both CPU's in the S7400H system are coming to Run mode, however, the bus fault is still blinking and all the IO rack profibus is showing fault. I have checked the cable and connector and the modules, looks ok, but not sure what else to check, please advise. Urgent support would be helpful. If required, I can make available the remote desktop available to view the HW config online. Thanks, Attachment fault.zip (342 Downloads)

dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 1/14/2026 Posts: 12481 Rating: (2722)	Hello Lucky; You can access the diagnostic buffer of the CPU and of the IM 153-2s directly from the Online View of the HWConfig editor (which you show in your jpeg image). Simply double-click opn every module that is marked by a red cross (showing failure). Open them and report here what the modules are complaining about. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

Unfortunately, some of the active bus module were not installed correctly. The active bus modules which were supposed to be installed on the back of IM-153 were installed on the back of IO modules and vice versa. It took us more time due to people who build the panels in shop floor have lesser knowledge about Siemens Systems. Nevertheless, after digging hard verified and found this issue. So after installing the active bus modules at correct place, this issue is now resolved. Though, I am currently working and coding this system, hope everything would go well. I will let you know guys if I stuck some where. Thanks for all your help.
