SIMATIC Batch Control Strategy Selection

Skelper Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I'm having difficulty getting my Recipe to initiate the required Control Strategy of my SFC Type - The Recipe reaches the "Control Strategy 1" step which has the stauts 'Unit Allocated' and 'Waiting for equipment phase'. The SFC block QCS = 1 but the SFC itself remains in 'Idle' ?? Does anyone have any leads for me to follow?

Skelper Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi Phantom, QDIS_START = True, but there are no obvious errors to cause this (e.g. LI_ERR = 0, EXEC_ERR = 0 etc.etc.) Where else can I look to see what is initiating QDIS_START?

Skelper Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi Phantom, It seems QDIS_START was red herring. I've cleared this and still have the same problem. When the recipe sticks I can intervene and manually kick off the control strategy - the problem seems to be that something prevents the batch system from doing this automatically. I've tried changing PARAM previously during my previous attempts but isn't this parameter only relevant to non-batch applications of the SFC Type?

Skelper Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi Phantom, Problem Solved! The OCCUPIED pin of the SFC Type CFC had been linked to to the OCCUPIED pin of the Unit Block - this was preventing the Batch from allocating the Unit. Thanks for your help.
