Hello MK86 further to KSN's suggestions, I can tell you that dat files will still (have to) grow in size even if you don't get values anymore from your aquisition anymore (put simple, the dat file willcontinue to keep track of the number of samples that exists in it). Due to the lossless compression that is used to store values in dat files, they will though be considerably smaller than ones wherevalues do change frequently, so the question is:What is a "normal" dat file sizein your application?
