an easy problem with internal tag..help!

mustafa mert Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	hi friends, I want to make an easy application with Wincc Flexible 2008,there will be two IO Field and one of them will be ''internal tag'' The other tag (non-internal tag) will be set with value of the internal tag when i enter any value to the internal tag...And i want to use setValue command in EVENTS. Briefly,I enter a (variable value,not constant) value in the IO Field with internal tag,and I wantto see that value.Where? in other IO Field(non-internal tag)... I hope,I could success explaining,please help Thanks,

Go to Events -> Change value then you select the function SetValue and you give External tag the value of Internal tag. The I/O field of External tag will show the desired value Best regards, Wizard

Wizard Diamond Expert Joined: 4/24/2006 Last visit: 1/15/2026 Posts: 9105 Rating: (1204)	Hello, You have two I/O fields, one with internal tag and one with PLC tag. You wan to edit internal tag and the PLC tag should have the same value. You can go to I/O field "internal tag" and go to events. Then go to "OnFinishInput" and select the function "SetValue" Then the tag you want to set is the "PLCTag" and the value will be "Internal tag" See screenshot, I hope it will help.
