How to migrate the program from MP270 to MP277?

We have a MP270, 10" Key Multi panel as a HMI, now the ENTER push button is not working in that panel, so i want to change the panel, but the new panel is MP277. Could anybody help me, how to take backup from the existing MP270 transfer it to the new MP277, the type of cable i have to use and software. Thanks

Thanks Hello, The backup file is useful if and only if you will restore it to a Panel with the same part number (i.e. another MP270). Thus because it is the compiled file downloaded to the panel. To migrate the project to MP277, you will need the configuration file. I recommend to contact the programmer to provide you with the configuration file. If you get the configuration file, then open it using WinCC flexible (up to version 2008 SP2-Update 13.). *Tip: Don't use WinCC flexible 2008 SP3* In the following link, you will found which cables should be used with varios Simatic Panels. What transfer options are available in the various operator panels? Hope this helps.
