How to update charts after changing the proccess tag type?

But as for me this operation is useless. I've never seen that PTT changes were applied to the Process Tags of that type. No new blocks appeared, no new connections were created.. I know that in general it's just about changing parameters and messages, but I've expected more. And could I indeed change the message from the PTT if it was changed in the Process Tag ^{(and become black instead of a green)}? I guess no.

Silent Bob Posts: 836 Rating: (100)	It depends on the changes you made... If you changed parameters, or connections, you could make a IEA file, wich contains only the changed things and reimport it. If you canged blocks inside the PTT (thanks for the abbreviation, I like it), you have to delete the instances, and import them again. If you made specific changes to the some instances the procedure is way more complicated, if you don't want to loose your modifications (but not always impossible). Please tell me, what your changes were.

TerminalBuzz Gold Member Joined: 11/4/2011 Last visit: 1/12/2026 Posts: 256 Rating: (53)	To update interface of FB open PTT and go to menu Options -> Block Types.., select your FB in the right panel and click New Version. Thus you will update just this chart, so then you should do Update PTT to apply changes from PTT to it's PTs. And as far as I know the Module Driver you should put manually to every Process Tag because it is a new block in the chart.. :(
