PCS7 v8 installation error, SQL Server 2005SP4

Deleted User Posts: 767 Rating: (69)	Does anybody know about that error? Please check the attached file. I have the system, Windows 7 ultimate x64 sp1. When i try to install PCS7 ES, it gives me a fault about SQL Server 2005+sp4. Attachment failure.jpg (319 Downloads)

Solution You have to reboot the PC and if you do this, you will see, that something is installing during this reboot. After the new start, everything is fine andthe SQL Server will beinstalled. FlavR_SavR Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I've had the same problem with my installation of PCS7 V8 Update 1 on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 operating system. The installation of PCS7 stuck at the point of configuring the SQL Server 2005. I found the mistake in the setup of Win Server 2008. In the Server Manager I had installed the Remote Desktop Services (formerly Terminal Services) before I started the installation of PCS7. After a complete new setup of Windows Server 2008 I've just installed IIS and Message Queuing and started PCS7 setup and it worked. I hope this tread can help others facing the same problem.
