What is the range of Raw values for4-20mA Analog Signal in S5 CPU 95U, 100U?

Please correct me For example IW64 if read directly in Step-5 raw value should be 0 1 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 = 20480 at 20mA input and 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 = 4096 at 4 mA? Simaticus Posts: 262 Rating: (24)	Hi M.Hamza, usually the analog value covers the range between -2048 to +2047. Be aware that this value has to be shifted to the right by 3 => SRW 3. L IW64 SRW 3 T FW 200 this contains the analog value If you are using the integrated analog inputs of plc 95 they only cover a range of 0 to 1023. For easy access i recommend to use fb251 / fb252. Pls check in manual of plc 95 for details, because the range of the analog inputs depends on the properties of the module and of the properties of the analog channels. Good luck

Actually I am converting S5 program to S7 and the S5 code reads as follows, L IW 64 T MW 101 = M 2.7 A( L MW 101 L 14193 <I ) = M 1.0 A( L MW 101 L 14074 <I ) = M 1.1 A( L MW 101 L 13955 <I ) = M 1.2 A( L MW 101 L 13836 <I ) = M 1.3 A( L MW 101 L 13718 <I ) = M 1.4 A( L MW 101 L 13599 <I ) = M 1.5 A( L MW 101 L 13480 <I ) = M 1.6 A( L MW 101 L 13361 <I ) = M 1.7 No scaling has been used so I am thinking of using a mathematical equation to convert S7 raw value to this s5 IW64. Please remember: Check in manual of plc 95 for details, because the range of the analog inputs depends on the properties of the module and of the properties of the analog channels. (Some analog ins offer a range of 512 to 2559). Good luck
