how to find Unused Spare IOs

Just count what you have in hardware and look what inputs are used in ref. was good enough for me. Because i always start with the symbol table i have no problem with that, spare i/o i name spare with i/o number. Unused symbols you can see in the table. Yes you have to change the name if you use a spare, but that's with all programming, you have to think by yourself and not rely on the software to do that for you. regards, Marcjan

bonjc Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	HiMarcjan, Thank u for your reply. In cross reference of blocks, Ín assignment view it is easy to find unused IOs. In step7 it is easy. But,, yesterday I checked in PCS7. Many of the IOs which areusedin CHARTs are shown as unused in 'assignments'. Thanks Boney
