Simatic Step 7 Basic V.11 SP2 SE - Unsupported operating system! windows 7 64 bit???

Finally i just bought the Simatic S7-1200 starter pack (6av6651-7ka01-3aa2) and it came with the Step 7 Basic V.11 SP2 SE (incl. update2) Well, now i am trying to install it but it seems there is a problem with the software. After run the install file, i see a message "unsupported operating system" Then it explains that it is not compatible with the old windows versions and it reccomends me to install on a Win xp SP3 32bit or Windows 7 (home, prof, premium etc.) 32 and 64 bit. My computer is a DELL i3 with win7 64 bit that is just bought for working with siemens products... before someone asks: -Yes, i already change the compatibility mode on the exe file without success (winXp, vista, 7, all failed). -Yes, i am running in admin mode -Yes, i already readed the readme file about the compatibility and it says it compatible with my win7 64bit. I also checked on the siemens website and it is the same. Why i can't intall it?? *i have installed the Logo!Confort and i did not have any problems...

Hello Raeng, The reason why the software not getting installed in your PC is because you are trying to load it on a Windows 7 Home Basic OS, whereas the prerequisite is Windows 7 Home Professional OS. Possibly the Online Support will also tell you the same. Try it in any other compatible OS as mentioned there or get the list from here - Compatibility Tool for Automation and Drive Technology
