840D Safety Integrated Error 27004

Jerry Higbea Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I am experiencing an issue with one of our 840D systems. It is coming up with the following error for the spindle drive, 27004,27101,27102, and 300911. All of the troubleshooting guides recommend cycling power off then on. We have repeated this several times with NCK reset and complete power down of the system and power on. This has not resolved the issue. Any thoughts on how to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance. Jerry

mehar Posts: 91 Rating: (1)	hello , there is an differance between posiiton value in Drive and position value in NC. whether machine in commissioning stage ? please compare the drive and nc safe parameters. or execute copy and confirm cycles. Thx

Jerry Higbea Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	We just replaced the reader head on the absolute linear scale on the z axis. After starting this thread, I went to the machine and found that there was another alarm for the z axis encoder parameterization. I fixed this issue, and turned off the DB35.DBX22.1 bit for the spindle. This allow the machine to power up, reference and home. Thanks for the feedback! Jerry
