Exception handling in script

Per Olof Posts: 311 Rating: (3)	Hello all, I use a script to connect to a SQL server. If for some reason I get an exception från the SQL server I would like to take care of that in the script so I do not get the pop-up (see picture) Regards Per Attachment C:\exception.jpg (134 Downloads)

Per Olof Posts: 311 Rating: (3)	Thanks Tweety. I have no problem to access the database. The ODBC connection is only valid for user, so if another user log in they do not have the ODBC connection .... so I would like to take care of the exception is some way and tell the user something. Cheers Per

Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (192)	Hello Per Olof, You can use a job of the scheduler in WinCC flexible with the event "change user". You can set a bit with this trigger and you display a alarm with this bit. Or you use the function "ShowSystemAlarm". Tweety
