Sir, one more question, I am reading Batch start time, Batch stop time and total batch time from plc, in SCADA, for these tags i mentioned data type as "time of day" and "time", but both time, I am not getting any value in report and on scada screen(######## or some decimal value), but in VAT table of STEP7 i can read these values.

if batch start at 11:30:40 am and stops at 3:35:42 pm,

then I should get above values as it is or stop time as 15:35:42

and total batch time as 4:5:2

What may be the problem?

I am using SFC1 for reading realtime clock from plc.

I have called this SFC1 twice, once by trigger from the bit "start of batch(cycle)"

and second from the bit"end of batch(cycle)"

And at these two bits i am moving read data to two different DBs.

Then in scada, i am using only time related 4 bytes of each instant.

Again I have to calculate total batch time ie end time minus start time which will be again in Hour,minute and seconds form.

How to do this?

Now I am using SFC64 for readind start time and end time.

Now, in VAT table I can read total batchtime in MD90 which is in "Time" format

But, in WinCCflexible2008, In Tags I configured MD90 as "Time" variable and when I tried to assign this Tag to a I/O field, it gives error.

Why?

"Time" data type in SIMATIC MANAGER V5.5 is different from that of WinCCflexible2008?

If yes, how to resolve?
