Technology Team Platinum Expert Joined: 10/11/2006 Last visit: 1/14/2026 Posts: 6066 Rating: (828)	Hello, if you use a decentral G120D, the CU240D-2 / CU250D-2 are available. Furtherthe "old" CU240S has an encoder for example. Depends on your power module there are different possiblities.

DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	In Sinamics G family (other then G120D) closed loop operation can be accomplished in the PLC: S7-1200 for example. For higher performance closed loop control, Sinamics S family should be used.
